ferrari-599-gtb-fiorano-hgteIncessant demands to produce a hybrid car technology in order to reduce air pollution that is increasingly concerned, is addressed to all the car manufacturers, including manufacturer that specializes produces great powerful car or sport car. This news is conveyed by the Ferrari number one person, Luca di Montezemolo. As we know it, beside Ferrari, automobile manufacturers that produce giant powered vehicles like Jaguar, Lamborghini, Mercedes, and Porsche, even in the future, racing car arena, including in the formula 1 event, were asked to suppress the emissions. In an interview with German magazine, Welt am Sonntag, Luca di Montezemolo urged to the powerful car makers to prepare hybrid engine. “If possible hybrid technology for large engine has already produced in year 2015,” ask Luca.

For Ferrari, attitude to express about environmentally friendly cars is not for the first time. Since the beginning of this year, that prancing horse’s headquarters already started the process of creating environment-friendly engines through a model F430 Spider with engine E85 which was shown at the Detroit Motor Show, America, earlier this year. And it’s announced that the Ferrari F430 able to suppress emissions to 40 percent until year 2012. The research done by Ferrari technicians is in line with technological development Kinetic Engine Recovery System (KERS) in F1, that is regeneration of braking system with energy that had applied to several teams, like Red Bull as a first user than followed by BMW which had harm the mechanic by electricity during exercise in Jerez, Spain.

In the racing car arena, using hybrid engine had pioneered by Gumpert’s Apollo Hybrid when following the 24 hours endurance race in Nurburgring, German, at some time ago. Car was driven by former F1 racing driver, Heinz-Harald Frentzen and Dirk Muller. Technology used is a combination of electric and gasoline with capacity 3.3L V8 turbo and 630 hp. Electrical charging system took place during braking.
